Welcome! We’re delighted you’re here. Whatbands is a website created for bands, musicians,  entertainers and venues. Below are some helpful tips on getting a listing published and hopefully lots of exposure.

Create an Account

On the homepage, look for the “Register button. It is located in the header. Email/Username: On the login page, you will need to enter your registered email address or username in the first field. Enter the password you created when registering for the site in the second field. Use Social Media Sign-In. You can choose it and follow the prompts to authenticate using your social media account. After entering your email/username and password, click the "Sign In" or "Log In" button to proceed. Once logged in, you will be redirected to your account dashboard or the homepage where you can start browsing or managing your listings. If you've forgotten your password, there is a "Forgot Password?" link to help you reset it via your registered email address.

Add Listing

First, register your name and contact details as an owner. When approved you can then access the Listing Form. Fill in your details; add photos, area, website etc. Review what the Listing will look like and then confirm you are happy with it. This needs to be approved by the administration before it goes live on WhatBands.

Get Exposure

To gain exposure, follow these tips: Create a Complete Profile: Ensure your profile is fully filled out, with accurate details about your listings. Include a clear description, quality photos, and all relevant information. The more complete and professional your listing looks, the more likely it is to attract attention.
Optimise Listings with Keywords: Use relevant keywords in your titles and descriptions. This helps your listings show up in search results when potential buyers or clients search for specific terms related to your product or service.
Update Regularly: Keep your listings up-to-date. Regularly updating your listing can help it remain visible and relevant, boosting your chances of appearing in featured or top search results.
Use good photos: Listings with good-quality, clear images tend to perform better. Invest in good visuals that showcase your products or services in the best light.
Offer Promotions or Discounts: If applicable, offering special deals or discounts can make your listing more attractive and encourage engagement.
Engage with Users: Respond to inquiries and feedback quickly. Engaging with potential customers builds trust and may improve your visibility within the site’s algorithm.
Leverage Paid Features: Use the paid features to promote your listing, such as featured placements or ads. Investing in these options can give you more exposure and help your listing stand out.
